What is the salon doing to keep me safe during a service or treatment?
Elementary Skin & Body’s has heightened our already rigorous hygiene and sanitation practices, including: o COVID19 Risk assessment o Hygiene Policy o A COVID19 Employee Handbook with a comprehensive look at all areas of the salon affected. You can view our risk assesment below.

Why are your hours/treatment times different than before?
Elementary Skin & Body’s revised hours and treatment schedule better allows us to practice heightened levels of hygiene and sanitation while complying with the requirements set forth by BABTAC, The Guild, The Government & ISA.
Our hours of operation are Tuesday 9-8, Wednesday 9-8, Thursday 9-8, Friday & Saturday 9-8.

Will the arrival and/or check-in process be different?
Yes. Prior to your arrival we will send your consultation form online to you. We ask you complete this prior to your arrival to confirm your medical history and agreement to treatment When you arrive at the salon, please follow these steps to assist our staff as they facilitate our new arrival and check-in process:
o Please arrive at your given appointment time.
o Face coverings are optional , please make your own decision and be mindful of others.
o Please bring your own refreshment with you to your appointment. We are now able to offer refreshments too.
o Please do not be surprised to see us in PPE including apron, face shield, face mask and gloves.
o Your therapist will greet you at the door and take you directly into your appointment.

Do I have to wear a mask while visiting the salon?
The government has lifted the measures put in place under Plan B. This means, there is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering. Face coverings are optional for clients and we ask them to make their own decision and be respectful of others decisions. Our therapists will be wearing appropraite PPE, if you have any queries please get in touch.

Why isn’t the service or treatment I usually get available?
To ensure that every service or treatment can be performed while following the guidelines established to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we have temporarily simplified our treatment menu. If a treatment you would like is not available, please get in touch and we can suggest an alternative treatment or service that might suit your needs.
